The colors and shading of glazed terracotta tiles vary to some degree from batch to batch and even piece to piece. That being said, it is not possible to show the full range of color in just a few samples. Please reference product and installation images to best understand color variation.
Glaze Opaqueness
Due to the hand glazing process and natural texture, high variation in glaze opaqueness is to be expected. Glazes can often appear slightly different in shade and opaqueness on antique, distressed terracotta tiles. Also, as clay is a natural material, small chips and other surface variations are common.
