Austin-based Clay Imports Tile receives 2021 Small Business Resiliency Award

Clay Imports is pleased to receive the 2021 Small Business Resiliency Award by The City of Austin Economic Development Department.

Local Chambers of Commerce selected honorees for their ability to overcome the unique and unprecedented challenges Austin small businesses endured during the COVID-19 pandemic. This year’s honorees are:

“These honorees pivoted their business models and displayed incredible resiliency in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic,” notes Sylnovia Holt Rabb, Acting Director for the Economic Development Department. “We are proud to recognize these business owners’ success and achievements. We remain committed to ensuring all of our local business owners, non-profit leaders, and creative professionals have the resources necessary to overcome negative impacts from the pandemic.”   

The Small Business Resiliency Award honorees were recognized with certificates during the kickoff for Small Business Week, which is fully virtual this year due to the pandemic. Registration for virtual training sessions and events is free and open to the public all week. Topics include: strategic pricing, business taxes, record keeping, business structure development, funding, marketing, and one-on-one business coaching experts in their respective fields.
