JOINTS 
Recommended joint size: 1/8” to 1/4”

Handmade tiles naturally vary in size and shape. Slight variation in alignment and surface (lippage) is expected and part of the aesthetic. A slightly wider grout joint helps accommodate this variation and results in a more balanced, cohesive installation.

Tighter joints may restrict movement and can emphasize irregularities.

Trim Options

We do not offer trim for our pattern tiles, you can also opt for a trim-free look using:

• Schluter profiles (including paintable options for a minimal finish)
• Mitered edges for clean corners
• Grout, paint, or caulk to finish exposed edges

SEALING

Glazed clay tile does not require sealing.

In certain applications like flooring, exterior walls, or wet areas, sealing is optional and can provide an extra layer of protection by reducing absorption at the grout lines and tile edges..

MAINTENANCE

Regular Cleaning
Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove dirt and debris. For routine cleaning, use warm water and a pH-neutral cleaner.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals
Do not use bleach, ammonia, or acidic cleaners, as they can damage the surface or grout.

Stain Management
For tougher stains, use a gentle cleaner and test in an inconspicuous area first.

Spill Care
Clean spills promptly to prevent potential staining.

Protect the Surface
Use furniture pads and avoid dragging heavy objects across the tile.

High-Traffic Areas
Use rugs or mats in entryways and frequently used spaces to minimize wear.

Wet Areas
In showers or exterior applications, occasional sealing of grout lines can help maintain long-term performance.
