Unlike traditional Moroccan Zellige, Saltillo Zellige offers a smoother surface, more uniform sizing, and a refined level of variation. Ideal for designers who want the Zellige look without heavy texture or unpredictability.

TYPE 
Zellige tiles are showstoppers, so we recommend using neutral or monotone grout colors, like light or medium gray, to highlight their stunning artistry. For our Zellige tiles, use Mapei Ultracolor Plus FA.

JOINTS 
Opting for minimal grout spacing of 1/16”-3/8” gives the surface a slightly imperfect, appealing texture, while placing tiles flush together creates a unique, artisanal appearance. Increasing grout joint size results in a more traditional look.
