Lente y Ladrillo

Join Clay Imports for an evening of narrative shorts and documentaries, followed by a Q&A with the director and producer, culminating in the premiere of "Lente y Ladrillo."

Filmed on working brick yards in Saltillo, Mexico, the short follows a photographer drawn by a distant plume of smoke into the world of a ladrillero shaping brick by hand, just as it’s been done for generations. Through her lens, Saltillo’s landscapes, architecture, and the rugged beauty of brick-making come into focus, each frame pulling the viewer deeper into the world she’s discovering.
