    • The Grow House Grow Jardín de Luna tiles can be selected individually, or mixed and matched to tell a whole story. Rabbits, deer, and herbs dance over this popular pattern inspired by the “rabbit in the moon.”  The colors are Wire and Fog.
    • To create a standard mix of our three patterns we recommend 25% Rabbit, 25% Deer, and 50% Herb for an aesthetic look.

    Jardín de Luna

    Most of us have heard of the man on the moon, but like clouds in the sky, different eyes see different things. The rabbit in the moon is another incarnation that has roots not just in Western Aztec, Otomi, and Cree legends, but in Eastern Chinese, Korean, and Japanese folklore as well.  This pattern pulls from its Mexican roots: stylized moons and suns dance with rabbits, deer, and herbs creating a garden of Earth and sky. Our Jardín de Luna tiles can be selected individually, or mixed and matched.

    First, decide what type of look want for your space.

    For a monochrome look:

    Mapei Ultracolor Plus FA 103 Cobblestone

    For a contrasting look:

    Mapei Ultracolor Plus FA 77 Frost

    GROUT JOINT

    We recommend between 1/8”-1/4" grout joint for rectified tiles, due to a natural variation in size. An additional deviation of ± 1/4" is considered acceptable for joint straightness and variation of flatness.

    Although a tighter grout joint is achievable, we recommend consulting a skilled installation expert to increase the probability of a successful installation.

    Metal Trim

    Schluter Schiene Satin Anodized Aluminium - 1/2". This sleek metal trim is paintable and available in various finish options.

    TECHNICAL RESOURCES

    Variation in color, sheen, and texture for clay tile is normal—it’s part of what makes the installations look so uniquely rustic and authentic. Blend the tiles beforehand.

    USAGE

    Clay tile can be installed almost anywhere. However, for climates with freezing weather and exterior wet area installations precautions must be taken for poper installation such as waterproofing, maintance and sealing.
