Handpainted Mexican Tile

Handpainted Mexican Tile

Crafted by hand in Dolores Hidalgo, just outside of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, our handpainted tiles are notably recognized by their decorative and at times textured surfaces on clay tile. Artisans meticulously sketch and hand paint each intricate Relief tile design. The Anejo line features and imperfect perfection of the glaze with an ever so slight terra-cotta peeking through on the edges, creates a warmth that most black and white tiles can’t. Talavera tile is rich in both history and color and design. With a backstory rooted deep in Colonial Mexican culture, Talavera tiles feature an array of patterns and vibrant colors.
