In 2012, Clay Imports was founded and developed by brothers Zac and Nick Barreiro out of a love for tile, an appreciation for craftsmanship, and a passion for international travel. By building a team of exceptional people and collaborating with artisans from around the world, we offer an authentic selection of handcrafted tiles and home goods consisting of high-quality materials and sustainable designs.
To this end, we aim to inspire outstanding spaces through the customizable tile and clay architectural products. We remain a locally owned and operated small business that strongly supports our communities in Austin, Texas, and Mexico.

VISION
To be nationally and internationally recognized as the tile experts by streamlining, modernizing and revolutionizing the process through which tile is made, selected, sold and installed.
MISSION
By constantly innovating and refining our direct-from-factory shipping, trusted factory relationships, turnkey process from sales to installation, team of custom tile designers, robust online presence, digital showroom experience and never-before-seen satellite tile studio across the country, we will connect more people to more tile than heretofore possible. We will do this together, as a remarkable team of passionate tile experts in a socially and environmentally responsible way.

To change what folks imagine is possible from a tile brand. To create collaborations that go far beyond a backsplash. To connect the customer with artisans and simplify the process of acquiring handmade ceramics. Selling all original works to benefit both creator and consumer.
