CLAY IMPORTS ARTESANAL FEATURED IN 6-PAGE ARTICLE IN BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS

Austin, Texas Company’s Product Featured in August, 2010 Edition of Better Homes and Gardens Kitchen and Bath Ideas  http://clayimports.com/lone-star-style

Clay Imports Artesanal, a subsidiary of Consorcio Artesanal, LLC, located in Austin, Texas and Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, Mexico is featured in a 6-page BHG article titled “Lone Star Style” (pages 94-99). The BHG article is written by Michael Walsh and photographed by Emily Minton-Redfield.

Marc and Marcia Bateman of Dallas used handmade and hand-painted Mexican Talavera tile made at Clay Imports Artesanal’s facilities in the historic Mexican town of Dolores Hidalgo. The Bateman’s selected a solid Mostaza color accented with SC-5 Talavera to decorate their new kitchen. Richard Drummond Davis was the architect and Tesa Turner was the interior designer for the Bateman’s new Spanish Colonial home.

Marcia Bateman stated “The Mexican tiles not only fit with the Spanish Colonial style of the house, but, like the granite countertops, they’re practically indestructible and easy to clean”.

The article has already inspired Tommye and Jim Wilhite who are building their new resort home in Twin Lake, located in Oklahoma’s Arbuckle Mountains. “As soon as I saw the back splash, I found Clay Imports Artesanal in the magazine’s Resource Directory and placed my order on their web site (www.clayimports.com).
